Description:
Lead transformation communication in one transformation area.
Be responsible for leading, developing and executing relevant communication solutions as part of the transformation agenda, and support to build transformation communications muscles in the whole organisation.
As part of the Transformation Area Leadership Team, act as a strategic business partner to the Transformation Leader counterpart.
Coach and support leaders and co-workers in strategic communication and change communication, while understanding the complexity of change and the receiver perspective.
Proactively contribute in business strategy & planning discussions to ensure business communication goals and deliverables are aligned with overall business plan and directions.
Ensure alignment with the overall Ingka Business Transformation agenda.
Enable change both in the known and in the unknown, supporting the change processes with dialogues and relevant, tailored communications.
Develop alongside other communicators and tap into wider resources, i.e. co-worker communication, social/digital, PR, stakeholder engagement, campaigns etc.
Actively push for improvement of content creation, driving effectiveness and efficiency in communication fit for the rapidly changing communication landscape.
Work across function within INGKA Group and in good collaboration with other IKEA businesses.
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge how to lead change with communication in a complex environment, supporting and coaching our leaders and other stakeholders
Extensive knowledge of how to lead communication by defining, planning, executing and follow-up communication to relevant stakeholders, always keeping co-workers informed, engaged and empowered
Excellent understanding on translating strategic communications in a relevant, simple and inspiring way with IKEA tone of voice and visual identity
Strong knowledge of stakeholder management
Strong knowledge of how to leverage communication to enable better business and transformation outcomes, today and tomorrow
Good knowledge of the IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure right representation
Ability to both provide strategic direction and also have a hands-on approach when necessary
Ability to navigate in the unknown and understand the complexity of IKEA business and transformation and the role of communication as an integrated part of the business
Ability to communicate verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way with IKEA tone of voice
Ability to lead change through communication with the business goal and co-workers in focus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships
