Description 

Senior Analyst  

PostNord has set out a high-level design of a solution to replace existing core systems supporting logistics and mail production in Sweden and Denmark.

Our legacy IT-landscape, supporting current mode of operations, is reactive, batch-oriented and static where information is pushed from system to system throughout the production process.

Furthermore, current legacy systems are to a large extent defining its own information universe, leading to many transformations of information as it traverses from system to system.

Future mode of operation shall be based on a factory model, where each item (parcel etc) is associated with an expected chain of events/activities that can be used to monitor and steer the progression of the item.  

The implementation of this requires that this digital “process” is aligned with the actual tasks, scan points/events and activities undertaken in production.

The job as Senior Analyst is, together with a Senior Solution Architect, to lead and drive the detailing analysis and requirements for the design of the core part of the depicted solution, with support from Business Analysts, Business SMEs and Architects. And further on, in close collaboration with development teams, ensure proper and stable implementation.

The work as Senior Analyst includes:

Collaborate with key business stakeholders and SMEs to gain a deep knowledge of the logistics- and mail production processes to be supported and to identify business requirements

Review and refine existing documented production processes and logistics flows

Contribute to, and document business requirements and user stories/use cases and epics as required, liaising with stakeholders in business and technology to ensure acceptance criteria are clearly articulated and all applicable standards and policies are understood

Work with business SMEs, architects, and development team to evolve the solution design and to ensure that the design and implementation is in line with and fulfil identified requirements

Requirements: 

10+ years of industry experience from the Logistics industry

Bachelor’s Degree, preferrable in the area of Logistics or Supply Chain

Experience from large scale solution design and transformation projects in the Logistics industry

Experience of process analysis and modelling

High communication skills with the ability to work with and through global, cross-functional teams including and service providers

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst delivering high quality results

Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

Exceptional analytical skills with regards to logistics and information analysis

Ability to work both as part of a team and independently to be effective

Experience with ERPs and Logistics/Supply Chain/Transport Management software

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization

DURATION – 30-Sep-22

RATE – SEK 750/hr for 40-hour weeks
