Background

We´re looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

This role is part of the 'Co-Worker Relations' capability area in Subdomain 'Talent Management and Total Rewards' of People Domain in Ingka. 

In this role, you will report to the Engineering Manager. The role is a possibility for further extension.

This position is based in southern Sweden and will consist of both local and remote work. 

No Travel is required. Note: Due to the Covid situation it will be remote work until Ingka guidelines change in Sweden.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist IKEA in:

Your main responsibilities

As Senior Software Engineer, your main responsibilities in this team will include:

· Develop software on GCP using the following products, Big Query, Composer, Cloud Function, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine

· Manage the main code repository on Gitlab and maintain the CI/CD pipeline

· Day-to-day administration of all GCP instances owned by the team

· Develop reports on the PowerBI service

· Contributing to the continuous development of standards against which software development should take place as well as exploring and bring in new technologies to boost innovation and development productivity

· Collecting and analyzing user data to optimize software accordingly

· Providing support and guidance as needed to other developers within the team encouraging good practices

· Stakeholder management and continuous collaboration with related teams

Desired Knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc

• A  bachelors or masters degree with a technical background
• At least 5 years experience in a similar job position
• Experience in a scrum and agile environment
• Strong  analytical and communication skills
• You bring passion and playfulness to your work and those around you.

Requirements

Three most important things

• A fantastic communicator and can work cross-functionally
• At least 3 years+ Experience in Google Cloud/AWS
• Strong command in JavaScript, NodeJS, TypeScript

RATE – SEK 625/hr for 40-hour weeks
