Content and scope of the assignment

Project RUFUS aims to review and implement new processes, system support and suppliers for a number of areas within HR and production for PostNord Sweden.

The IT leader we are looking for will lead the work in one of the projects to produce forecasts for the WFM system with support from business and product owners as well as architects within the IT program's appointed test leaders.

The tasks include the following:

· Develop, document and implement business rules for forecasts. and ensure that the Data Scientist in the DataLaketeam has the data needed for the forecasts as well as the documentation of business processes needed to "train" the AI ​​algorithms for best forecast reliability.

· Identify and plan the necessary resources for the work.

· Ensure that the schedule for producing forecasts is kept and that the data and business rules required for the various forecasts are available for each PI planning.

· Coordinate and run the work within forecast projects and coordinate the work with the IT manager within the Rufus program, Production and pilot projects in the field.

· Have an ongoing close dialogue with the IT project manager, program management, sub-projects and Postnord's stakeholders within forecasts

· Report progress and escalate any problems to the Product Owner

· The person will report to the Product Manager, Data Lake.

Execution of the assignment

Full-time at PostNord's head office in Solna (alternatively from a distance across Teams with regard to PostNord's current policy regarding corona).

Result (delivery requirement)

• Data sources for forecasts identified

• Data quality assured

• Data for each forecast in each PI planning period available

• Follow-up of deliveries

Schedule

Start as soon as possible and the assignment runs primarily until 09-30 2022, but with a probable extension.

Knowledge transfer

The project is carried out fully integrated with PostNord and competence transfer therefore takes place on an ongoing basis on a daily basis. 

All documentation is handed over to PostNord on an ongoing basis and after completion of delivery. 

PostNord reserves the right to use any structural capital generated both during and after the completion of the project.

Documentation

· All deliverables are documented in accordance with formats agreed with PostNord.

Requirements: Education and experience

· Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, in both speech and writing

· At least 3 years of experience in IT project management with similar tasks

· Experience of working with forecasts or producing AI forecasts

· The understanding of both IT and business perspectives

· Good ability to navigate complex, large organizations with many stakeholders

· Good ability to work together by being responsive and communicating in a constructive way

· Driving, pragmatic and structured person with high drive and the ability to make things happen through commitment, innovation and solution focus

DURATION – 30-Sep-22

RATE – SEK 700/hr for 40-hour weeks
